The EMBROIDERY DESIGN ORGANIZER is only available online. You can access the lessons through the provided course portal. No physical copy of the PDF organizer/ planner will be mailed to you. After your purchase, you will be able to print out as many pages of the PDF printable as needed.
WHAT KIND OF COMPUTER DO I NEED TO HAVE?
The EMBROIDERY DESIGN ORGANIZER system will work on Mac and PC computers. It is also possible to use Android and Apple tablets and phones to access the course materials, downloads, and digital database!
DO I NEED TO BUY EXTRA SOFTWARE OR PROGRAMS?
No. All of the software/ programs (Canva & Airtable) that I use in the EMBROIDERY DESIGN ORGANIZER are free to use. There are paid versions that are available however none of needed. The free versions are all you need!
HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM EMBRILLIANCE THUMBNAILER?
Embrilliance Thumbnailer is an awesome program that allows your computer to show a preview of the stitch file rather than a blank page icon when viewing your files. While I love and use Thumbnailer, it is not helpful when I am trying to browse all of my designs at once because they are all in folders. So all I see is a bunch of blue folder icons when I am looking at my embroidery designs. The digital database portion of the EMBROIDERY DESIGN ORGANIZER is made so that you can add a picture of your embroidery design and whatever other information is important to you. Then you can see everything at once!
HOW SOON AFTER PURCHASING WILL I RECEIVE ACCESS?
The EMBROIDERY DESIGN ORGANIZER will be delivered digitally, via the email address you provide at checkout. In that email you will receive a link to set up a password to your account. Once purchase is complete, you will have immediate access to all course materials. If you have purchased a course/ membership from me in the past, you will use the same login info.
HOW DO I KNOW WHETHER EMBROIDERY DESIGN ORGANIZER IS RIGHT FOR ME?
If you are drowning in embroidery files and can't remember what you have, then this course is for you.
WHAT IF I AM NOT TECH SAVVY?
Its ok if you are not great with a computer. You will learn how to download, unzip, and organizer your designs in the video tutorials. If you are a pen & paper person, the PDF printable is a great option to keep a binder with all of your embroidery design info that you can flip through when looking for something.
HOW DOES THE DIGITAL DATABASE WORK?
It is hosted on a spreadsheet like program called Airtable. After you set up a free Airtable account and access my Digital Database template, you will love the ease of clicking a button to find exactly what you are looking for.
Simply enter the information that is important to you for each embroidery design and upload a picture. The fields are customizable to take away or add anything you want. Once the information is added, the view can be changed to better visualize your designs by enlarged pictures, search capabilities, and filters.
IS THERE A MAGIC BUTTON THAT WILL ENTER ALL OF MY FILES FOR ME?
No unfortunately there is no magic button. With my Embroidery Design Organizer system, I provide the tools for you to get organized, but it is up to you use them. I show you everything you need to use the tools effectively.
WHAT IF I ALREADY HAVE A GAZILLION DESIGNS?
I am in the same boat as you 🤣! What I have done is made it a point that every time I buy a new design from this point forward, I immediately add it to my database or binder. Then I started to tackled one store at a time that I buy designs from. I will log into my account, look at my order history, then just start to copy and paste those designs into my database or binder. It will take time, but it can be done 💪!
